Booking Process

Step 1
Get in touch

Once you have your wedding date, please use the contact page to check my availability.

I offer my clients a personal and bespoke service so I only take on a limited amount of weddings each month.

I advise you book your date with

12 months notice but it's still worth checking availability if your wedding is sooner.

Step 2

Secure your date

If you're happy with your quotation and would like to secure your date in my diary then a £200 non-refundable booking fee is required. This comes off your final invoice.

After this, approximately 4 - 6 months before the wedding, I post you a beautiful postal box of cake samples to try. All consultations are done at a similar time via video call.

Postage for this is £10 per box, sent next day delivery by 1pm on a date arranged with you.

Cake samples and a video consultation are included in your costs.

If you would prefer a one to one consultation, they are available by request. They are held at my cake studio in Theydon Bois, Epping, Essex at a fee of £100.

Step 3
The design

Before the consultation I will ask you some questions so that I can learn more of the style, colours and design features you find attractive.

I can then put together some design ideas / mood board and we can discuss these together at the consultation where we will refine the design.

I can offer suggestions of modern design techniques along with advice on flavours. We can also discuss designs for edible favours if you would like to.

After the consultation I will provide you with a sketch of your cake (fondant designs) to help you envision what your cake will look like.

After all the details have been decided, I will send you a final invoice, which is due 8 weeks before your wedding.

Step 4
On the day

On the morning of your wedding day I will deliver, set-up and style your cake.

I will align completely with your florist and venue co-ordinator, leaving you able to simply relax and have a wonderful day.
